Latest feedback on ATX power supply swap in QS Tower
    "QuickSilver ATX PSU mod
I'm using a standard PC 20pin ATX PSU with a modified 4pin AUX and 20 to 24pin adapters to get my 2001 Quicksilver to boot without a 25v tickle supply. I've substituted both the 25v wires that the 2002 Quicksilver has with the +5v standby (purple) wire. The ground pin 12 is currently not attached but it seems to be booting fine. I used the wiring guide at the bottom of the Mods to Mirror Drive Door Power Supply for DA/QS Towers for the PSU. I would like to thank you for the information on your website and I plan to try this same method with my MDD powermac.
    -Regards, Jonathan N. "
