OS X Tiger user notes on Safari 3.2.1 (prebinding still fails)
Had several mails on this (OS X Tiger users noting prebinding still fails after Safari 3.2.1 update) Here's a sample from a reader that reported the same thing previously with v3.2:

"I downloaded and installed Safari 3.2.1 onto my MacBook 2.0 that is running 10.4.11. I did not have any problems with Safari 3.2, other than Terminal would not do the Prebinding. With Safari 3.2.1 installed and functional, I "Quit" Safari so that I could try Terminal's Prebinding. The problem remains. (as mentioned before - fails with errors - running with -debug option still shows libxml2.2.dylib not prebound)

I then had the bright idea that maybe I should re-download and re-install Security Update 2008-007. (which apple noted was required for Safari 3.2) I re-installed the Security Update. I used Disk Utility to fix Permissions. ... Shockwave 10 had faulty permissions that were fixed.
I restarted Safari 3.2.1. No problems noted with Safari. I "Quit" Safari, and did the Terminal Prebinding thing: The problem remains.
I did a Finder > Find > Name Contains > Shockwave. I trashed 4 items.
I restarted Safari 3.2.1. No problems noted with Safari. I "Quit" Safari, and did the Terminal Prebinding thing: The problem remains.
I downloaded and installed Shockwave 11. I restarted Safari 3.2.1. No problems noted with Safari. I "Quit" Safari, and did the Terminal Prebinding thing: The problem remains.

My best guess: as long as Safari is stable, I am going to ignore the Prebinding anomaly. Maybe the next version of Safari 3.2.x for 10.4.11 will fix the minor problem.
I don't use any Safari add-on's or add-in's, or modifiers. None whatsoever. I just want Safari to work as is.
-JJ"
