| Apple posts ProKit 5.1 for Leopard/Snow Leopard |
| Spotted this at Apple today - the title note originally said "for Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5)", but apple later revised it. (It appears in SU on a Mac that has some of the apps listed installed, but doesn't on a Mac w/o them.) I downloaded it but not applied it yet on the one mac that does have pro apps on it.
"ProKit 5.1 (Leopard & SnowLeopard) (32.39MB)
This ProKit Update fixes issues with user interface software resources that are shared by Apple's professional applications.
The issues addressed include:
Corrected an issue with improper scrolling behavior.
Resolved memory leaks for improved performance.
Addressed layout of interface elements in certain application alert windows.
The update is recommended for all users of Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Soundtrack Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Aperture, Final Cut Express, Soundtrack, Logic Pro and Logic Express.
System Requirements: Mac OS X 10.5 or later, OS X 10.6 or later" |

"Cocktail 4.7.1 (Snow Leopard Edition) is the latest maintenance update of Cocktail for users running Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. It adds Mac OS X 10.6.3 compatibility and ability to stop Cocktail from logging out, restarting or shutting down the computer at the end of a scheduled programme. The update also features improvements on the clear Adobe Flash Player caches and cookies procedure as well as overall performance improvements.
