Mac NAS user reports page updated
I've added 5 more reports to the Mac user reports on NAS as well as an update (screenshot of Helios Lantest benchmark results) to one of yesterday reports. (Later updates first - this morning's update includes reports on Netgear Ready NAS Duo, Netgear ReadyNAS NV, Synology DS-209, Synology DiskStation DS410 and Netgear ReadyNAS RND2000.)

Safari 5 issues with some addons (check for updates), Tips for Netflix issue
Despite having no 3rd party browser addons, in yesterday's post on Safari 5 (and Safari 4.1 for Tiger) I mentioned not updating yet to Safari 5 (at least on my work machine) but have had some mails from readers on issues they've seen after updating to Safari 5. Just another reminder to check for updates to any addons you have (there's already an update to 1Password - v3.2.1 adds Safari 5 support. If sending a mail on an addon issue, please include the version of the addon.)

"Page load hangs with Safari 5
Just thought some of your readers might have run into the same problem I have since updating to Safari 5. My computer is a PowerMac Dual 2.3GHz running OSX 10.5.8. After upgrading and launching Safari, the page begins to load and then hangs. Problem lay with CosmoPod and removing the offending item from InputManagers solves the problem. I have just contacted the developers to advise the same.
(I asked for his CosmoPod version as they may be posting an update soon)
The version was Cocoamug's latest at the time ( v4.4.1). Below is a response from the developer received this morning:
"We have CosmoPod and TabExpose ready for Safari 5. Give it a few more hours of testing and packing and we will post an update."
Regards, Des"

And a FYI/tip for any Netflix users that updated:

"Netflix streaming problems w/Safari 5 (and fix)
Saw a problem after updating - here's a tip/workaround until silverlight plugin is updated (hopefully).
Go into Safari prefs and enable developer menu (Preferences->Advanced tab->show develop..). Then in the developer User Agent set it to Safari 4.1 Mac.
(If you're logged into netflix, logout and back in)
-Eddie"
