"Hi, Mike. Followed your advice and re-installed the SiL3132 drivers over Lion. At restart, the Mac Pro appeared to hang, then restarted itself a couple of times, then after about 5-6 minutes of the spinning clock, and just as I was about to hold-in the Power button, arrived at my Desktop.
I connected two bare SATA drives to the card and they both appeared on the Desktop. I opened folders, etc just to make sure everything was still on the drives but didn't copy or move any files between the seven HDs but will try again after the weekend.
