| More on 2009 Mac Pro w/eSATA card + Bootcamp/Windows volumes |
Another update on the subject of 2009 Mac Pro owners w/eSATA card + Bootcamp drives. The reader that noted a problem booting to BC/WIndows appx 25% of the time sent an update - apparently just an increased delay due to the card (NT 6G) having a bios/checking for attached drives. (For the record like me he has bootrom B07.)
So the question remains if it's an issue with the 2009 Mac Pro bootrom "B08" version. (The reader that original reported the problem (4 different eSATA cards tried) has B08 bootrom and suspects that is the culprit, based on my experience and another office worker w/B07 bootrom.)

| Improved battery life after iPad 3.2.1 update? |

One thing I didn't see (that I am seeing) is that since the 3.2.1 iOS update from apple for my iPad, BATTERY life has been unbelievable. Prior to this update, I could leave the iPad unplugged for 3-4 days and then have to recharge from about 30-40% battery. As of today, I'm on Day 7 and it's still at 80% battery life. I can't believe that this wasn't in the notes, or maybe something I did before is affecting it, I'm not sure.
It's just surprising to me that the battery is that much better now.
(Is it mainly improved in less drain during sleep? (wasn't sure what amount of time each day it was used))
sleep / idle mainly, though in use I also notice it doesn't use as much battery. (Though not tested it completely to see how long I can go using it, considering the battery life.)
