Apple posts Boot Camp 3.1 Update (w/Win 7 support, other fixes), Boot Camp Utility for Win 7 Upgrade
"Boot Camp Software Update 3.1 for Windows 64 bit
This update adds support for Microsoft Windows 7 (Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate), addresses issues with the Apple trackpad, turns off the red digital audio port LED on laptop computers when it is not being used, and supports the Apple wireless keyboard and Apple Magic mouse.
This update is highly recommended for all Boot Camp 3.0 users.

For more information, please visit this website: http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/"

There's also a Boot Camp Software Update 3.1 for Windows 32 bit.
As I've mentioned since its release in October, I've been running 64-bit Windows 7 Pro on a Mac Pro and 64-bit Win 7 (Home Prem) on an early 2009 17in MacBook Pro using bootcamp 3.0 from the SL disc. (Some features were not supported w/BC 3.0 at least on some new macs. Also some features of the Magic Mouse and 2009 wireless keyboard were not fully supported w/BC 3.0.)
[FYI: As I've seen before w/earlier BC driver installers, it's not very intelligent. It installs many unnecessary drivers on systems like a Mac Pro (drivers for a trackpad, built-in iSight, etc.). I'll manually remove those not used/needed, but I really wish their installer had options to pick and choose what you wanted to install. The UB MacBook Pro of course has a trackpad (multi-touch), built-in iSight, etc. and I'll use most everything installed. But I will have to reinstall Nvidia's mobile GPU drivers v195.62 (WHQL, dated early Dec 09), as BC 3.1 installed v188.61 apparently. And for the first time after updating BC/Win 7 and then rebooting back to 10.6.2 (which also had the Security update installed earlier today) - this MBP seemed to hang on shut-down in OS X. Had to force a shutdown (Pwr button held) - restarted in OS X, checked/verified the OS X volume (OK) and didn't see the problem repeat.
BTW - While checking for updated GTX-285 drivers today, I saw Nvidia drivers page has new (dated today) 196.21 WHQL drivers for Windows 7/Vista/XP. Release notes are there. Not tried them yet.]

Apple also released today a "Boot Camp Utility for Windows 7 Upgrade":

"Boot Camp Utility for Windows 7 Upgrade
Use the Boot Camp Utility for Windows 7 Upgrade Installation Utility before upgrading from Vista to Windows 7. This utility safely unmounts the read-only Macintosh volume on Microsoft Vista.
For more information on this update, please visit this website: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3172. (Boot Camp: "0x80070005" appears when upgrading from Vista to Windows 7")
You must first agree to the SLA agreement before downloading or using this update..."
