MacBook Pro (Nvidia 8600M) GPU Failures/Repairs/Tips page updated
I've added several more reader reports to the previous page on Nvidia 8600M GPU/Video Failures/Repairs/Tips. (Ref: Apple's extended GPU warranty for affected MacBook Pro models - IF the ext. drive GPU test flags it as a qualifying GPU failure...)
And of course it can't help with an actual hardware failure, but it's worth trying the Tips linked there for no video/black screens posted by a reader in Aug 2008 that has helped a few others. And if you have a failure that's refused coverage, if possible get a 2nd opinion/retest if there's another apple store/service center within a reasonable distance.

Looking for readers using Yazsoft's Playback on a Mac Pro w/separate Bootcamp HDs installed
I'm looking to talk with other Mac Pro owners that have Yazsoft's Playback software installed -and- have separate hard drives with Bootcamp/Windows.
If you are or have recently noticed your Bootcamp HDs are not selectable in OS X startup disk control panel (and have not installed a 3rd party NTFS driver), contact me.
(The Bootcamp HDs were still bootable via Option key at startup and mounted in the Finder, but just were not shown in OS X startup disk control panel. I've fixed that problem but curious if what I saw was just corrupted nvram or some other uncommon issue.)

More Feedback on WD TV Live (Wireless Networking, YouTube)
Eddie recently dropped off his WD TV Live for me to play with as I wanted to have a bit more time with it for a better comparison to my Asus O!play Air. I've added some notes on using it with a USB Linksys 600N (dual band) wireless adapter with my AE (simul dual-band) base/networks to the earlier page on WD TV Live and Asus O!Play Media Players .
